I Have stayed here about three years ago and on my recent return discovered that the owers have changed. The building and fabric was up to the standard that I expected except the the decor had been changed from period to semi modern. I know that it is odous to make comparisons but the new owners just seem to penny pinch and have removed many of the facilities I previously enjoyed such as secretarial use of office, choice of free papers and hospitality choice in the rooms. So sad to see a great hotel become an ordinary one.
