Newlands Hotel, Blackpool

My wife and I stayed at the Newlands Hotel for 4 days in January 2008. The hotel is absolutely wonderful.... clean, tidy and the food is great. We loved the themed music bar and the Lord of the Rings dining room. The owners are the most friendly people we have ever met. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of Blackpool and just off the promenade (but really quiet to say we were only 20 seconds walk to the sea front) - easy to get anywhere.
We would definately recommend this hotel if you are visiting Blackpool.

We all enjoyed it immensely - great food, great rooms and a fantastic atmosphere (we just loved the bar and its music theme).
Both kids got on with Phil and Heather immediately and this is unusual as one, in particular, is very weary of other people - this, in our eyes, make Phil & Heather very special people.
10 out of 10 - this is where we will always stay from now on. Thanks

Just returned from our second visit to the Newlands Hotel. Wow, better than last time - even more musical memorabillia in the bar than before. We had a lovely en-suite room that was absolutely spotless, food was great and Phil & Heather are just brilliant people and their hard work deserves to pay off.

Booked back for the illuminations, I won't add any more reviews here though, unless anything changes for the better or worse.
I'd also like to encourage others to add a quick note about where they have stayed as the last thing we all would want is to find we've booked into a filthy flea pit for the week when a word of warning from someone who has experienced it could have saved us the bug bites!!!!

If you are going to Blackpool though, take my advice and try the Newlands Hotel on bairstow street. Cheers all.

Brilliant stay over the Bank Holiday. Great location (30 seconds to beach & central pier), very clean, great food, good company and fantastic service (better than most of the four star hotels we have stayed in). Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay when you are looking for your blackpool accommodation. The hotel is lovely and clean, the meals great and the owners are really good hosts. The hotel is ideally situated just off the promenade near the central pier, really handy for the sea front, blakpool tower, tussauds, pleasure beach, etc.
We would highly recommend this hotel (and have done!).

Stayed here with my wife and kids and found it excellent. We visit Blackpool on a regular basis and this was by far the best place we have stayed. The rooms were spotless, the meals great and the ownersreally friendly. Now we've found the Newlands we would not go anywhere else and we highly recommend it to friend and family alike.
