Mayfield Bed and Breakfast, Fort William

A delightful B&B situated 2mls North of Fort William down a quiet lane in Happy Valley! Very warm welcome with hot drink/cakes/biscuits on arrival.Accommodation is spotlessly clean throughout with great care given to detail and comfort. Guests have the use of a large cosy lounge including a computer for Internet access (free) and extremely relaxing modern furniture.I stayed in a small, comfortable single room for 2 nights but had everything I needed, including a sink, although not en-suite at present.However, a very modern, extremely clean bathroom also with walk in shower was virtually opposite the bedroom door. Breakfast (juice,cereals,porridge, fruit) included a nicely cooked hot breakfast with adequate choice. Coffee good too! The Proprietor, Michael, is informative, helpful and friendly.At £27.50 (single room) per night,this is a truly excellent B&B situated a few minutes drive from the road leading to Ben Nevis!
I will certainly stay at this B&B again and thoroughly recommend it.

This was by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. It was spotless in every area. You received a very warm wlcome on arrival and nothing was to much trouble. The room was excellent, and breakfast was superb. We cannot praise Michael enough.

Decor & Amenities of the highest order. Everything modern and clean. Host very pleasant, helpful and interesting. Breakfasts exceptional. On a rating of one to five stars I would definately give it SIX stars.
