A very comfortable and relaxing place to spend time – with stunning countryside. A warm welcome from Philippa, Christopher and dogs. And a delicious breakfast – we will recommend it here.

We are already planning to come again!
Philip and Sally Bean, Howden, East Yorkshire, July 2007

Low Penhowe has been best B&B we have ever stayed in. Wonderful hospitality and accommodation. Food of the highest standard. We could not have been better looked after by wonderful hosts in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend Low Penhowe to others
David and Doreen Baley, Kintore, Scotland, July 2007
Low Penhowe has been a perfect base for our all too short Yorkshire trip visiting gardens nearby. Gloriously quiet, brilliantly comfortable beds and lovely spacious bathroom. Comparable to the best-ever B&B we have ever stayed in (in South Africa) Thank you so much for your fantastic hospitality
John and Suzanne Coke + John and Sarah Taylor, South Warnbrough, Hampshire, July 2007
Many thanks for the absolutely perfect stay. Your hospitality, together with the breakfasts and beautiful en-suite bathroom is hard to beat. We did so enjoy your charming garden at Low Penhowe with its plentiful bird life. We will certainly be back.
Michael and Daphne Garlick, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa, July 2007
The scenic beauty and quiet rural ambience of Low Penhowe is stunning. Low Penhowe is perfectly situated for eating out at excellent character pubs and sight seeing including York. What made our stay perfect was the beautiful accommodation and the exceptional and friendly service provided by our hosts, Philippa and Christopher. They made you feel part of the family and provided what we consider to be the best B&B experience available.
PS – Christopher is invaluable as a local guide!
Liz and Mike Brown, Perth, Western Australia, Australia, July 2007
Thank you for looking after us so well over the last few days. It was wonderful to relax at Low Penhowe and look at the beautiful countryside after our hectic time in London. The cups of tea were refreshing after a days sightseeing, and the breakfast were magnificent. We’ll definitely be recommending Low Penhowe to our family and friends.
Catherine and Ashley Gilbert, Perth, Western Australia, Australia, July 2007
A really lovely area in which to stay, all the more so because of this wonderful home. Great reception from Philippa, Christopher and of course the dogs. Hope to return in the near future.
Gerry and Arthur Caldwell, Warrington, Cheshire, June 2007
This is truly a lovely, peaceful place to stay – and Molly is an extra delight! The breakfast is magnificent – I enjoyed all those things which are not available in the United Sates – and our hosts were welcoming and very helpful. We hope to come back soon.
Susan and David Boyce, Aiken, South Caroline, USA, June 2007
11 out of 10. Look forward to doing it again sometime.

Everything we read about Low Penhowe on the website before our visit is absolutely true! Christopher and Philippa have thought of everything that guests might need to make for a wonderful stay. We’ve had a lovely stay. Thank you both.

Wonderful welcome, wonderful hosts
Great Breakfast, great views
Great country and all to be found in Great Britain.
Celia and Keith Macey, Maidenhead, Berkshire, June 2007
Thank you so much Christopher and Philippa for a truly wonderful weekend at Low Penhowe. We wanted to get away from the ‘rat race’ on our 20th wedding anniversary and you certainly enabled us to do that. You truly are fantastic hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Superb breakfasts and accommodation! We really enjoyed our late night drinks with the ‘Taxi Driver’. Thanks again.
PS – We’ll miss our welcome from Tarka and Molly!
Ruth and Peter Hargreaves, Rochdale, Lancashire, June 2007

Ewan and Sue Hewitt, Martock, Somerset, June 2007
We have had a wonderful week – what care and attention to detail! Low Penhowe must be in the running for the best B&B. This certainly the best B&B we have ever stayed in.
Ken and Ann Hall, Martock, Somerset, June 2007
From the minute we drove up the drive, Philippa and Christopher could not have been more accommodating! You seemed to be able to our needs from tea trays well stocked in the bedrooms, a bathroom stocked with luxury soaps and lotions. Especially enjoyed when Tarka and dear Molly – sitting around the fire and playing with the dogs. We found Charlotte’s guide through York not to be missed. Never would we have found all those nooks and crannies on our own! Your breakfasts!! Add the great pubs for dinner! Thank goodness for long walks to take off the calories.
Finally, thanks for your directions on driving and places to visit, especially Chatsworth! We have so very many memories to take home and all of them exceptional. We couldn’t have been happier staying with you at Low Penhowe.
Kathy and Ed Johnson, Stillwater, Minnesota, USA, June 2007
The warmest of welcomes was extended throughout our stay. Christopher and Philippa are so very kind and took such great care of us and Low Penhowe is a very special place. Beautiful house, a fantastic view, a pretty garden, a wonderful comfortable room and we slept so well! Breakfast was delicious and so well presented, I loved my smiley face! Our tea tray in the room was replenished each day, including chocolates and fresh milk. We loved Yorkshire, so much to see and do: religion, history, walks and everything looks so pretty at this time of the year, (early June) flowers in the fields, trees in leaf, wild honeysuckle in the hedgerows, the sun shining on the red roofs and everywhere house martins, swallows and swifts catching insects on the wing….. food for the soul! Thank you very much and we shall miss Tarka, Molly and the hares! All your advice and the company and Ed and Kathy ‘the Americans’ was a bonus!
Brian and Tania Marshall, Frendown, Dorset, June 2007
Low Penhowe, stunning place – wonderful food – fantastic people – fabulous views – perfect break. Will we return? Without a doubt. Thank you for a very special time.
Mike and Marilyn Allen, Stafford, Staffordshire, June 2007
A very big thank you to Christopher and Philippa for a wonderful stay in a wonderful place! Your hospitality was superb and very generous and we were thoroughly spoilt. Low Penhowe has to be the best B&B we’ve ever stayed at. (Sorry to say that you were not able to adopt Kay, my mother in law permanently! Perhaps next time!)
My deep gratitude for looking after us (me) so very graciously and willingly. I will miss Low Penhowe and you both. Maybe we will revisit you, if you will have us back!
Meenal and John Manning + Kay, Ipswich, Suffolk, June 2007
Thank you Philipp and Christopher for an excellent few days in your lovely home (more like a 5 star hotel than a B&B) treated as friends not guests. Many, many thanks.

When you travel as a family for the first time in 10 years to celebrate a parent’s 80th birthday and you mom and dad’s 60th wedding anniversary, you hope for the very best experience. We had all that and more. This was a highlight for the Stewart family that will bring smiles and fond memories for a lifetime. Our deepest appreciation to Christopher and Philippa for making this a truly wonderful time
Jim (Tony!) and Abby Stewart, Vancouver, Washington, USA, May 2007
A visit to Low Penhowe is like visiting with old friends – unfortunately none of my old friends has such a beautiful view of the Yorkshire Countryside. Breakfasts are incredible, and for the pet lovers Molly and Tarka are an added bonus. Thoroughly delightful stay!
Cindy Stewart, Lynchburg, Virginia, USA, May 2007
Like visiting old friends. This was our first visit to England and we fell in love with Yorkshire. Christopher and Philippa were the perfect hosts and it saddens us to leave.
Lou and Thelma Stewart, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, May 2007

Excellent in every way! Rarely can we say anywhere is faultless but this is really due to the attention and detail on the part of Christopher and Philippa. Superb breakfast and comfortable rooms. Good recommendations for places to eat and suggestions for places to visit. We hope to come again soon.
Alan and Carolyn Williams, Manchester, May 2007
Most comfortable and could not have been more friendly, felt most at home. Food excellent and rooms very good. Most important the welcome and friendliness. I’ll certainly come again.

Sylvia Driver, Hastings, East Sussex, May 2007
Christopher and Philipp do not claim anything in their publicity which they do not achieve. Hugely warm welcome, comfortable beds, relaxing lounge and nothing too much trouble. We cannot wait to return. The only thing wrong with this visit is that it isn’t long enough.
Diane and Jack Warner, Long Stanton, Cambridgeshire May 2007
Quite simply, the best B&B in the world ever. Absolutely no detail overlooked, the hosts have thought of everything. Accommodation, setting, food all first class. Very highly recommended, hope to return before too long. Thanks for everything.

Alan and Marian Corwwod, Thornton, Somerset, April 2007
Dave and Pauline Hibbert, Cornwall, April 2007
We found Low Penhowe on the internet. We were attracted by the description of the breakfasts and the location close to York and Malton. Low Penhowe has more than lived up to our expectations! We have been so well looked after by Christopher and Philippa. The breakfasts have been superb and the log fire in the Drawing room has provided a warm and relaxing haven at the end of two busy days. The children have had a whale of a time feeding the Highland Cattle and collecting the eggs. We shall be very sorry to leave the peace and tranquillity of Low Penhowe.
Alan and Christine Shirras, Halton, Lancaster, April 2007
What I like most was Tarka’s waggy tail.
Fiona Shirras, Halton, Lancaster, April 2007
What I liked most was collecting so many eggs in the hen house. I also liked all the places round it (good positioning)
Colin Shirras, Halton, Lancaster, April 2007
We can’t think of anything nicer than spending many happy moments with you all at Low Penhowe. We arrived as strangers but feel we are leaving as friends. Throughout our visit we have felt welcomed, cared for and treated. Thank you for looking after us.
Sally and Jasper Collins, Howden, East Yorkshire, April 2007
We have had a thoroughly lovely time here at Low Penhowe, a wonderful 2 day stay. Lovely house, Philippa and Christopher made us feel very welcome – like home away from home! On arrival we met by their very friendly dog, we had a lovely view from our window of the chickens and cattle – a fantastic break from city life in Cambridge! Philippa and Christopher were fantastic hosts, made us feel as though nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were of very high standards, we cleared our plates on both days! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
Dale Dadhams and Fauve Bittekin, Cambridge, April 2007
Our visit has lived up to all of the advance publicity (See 1st May 2006); we’ve been pampered and cared for, and given space to relax, in just the right measure. Very many thanks for what you seem make effortless. But which must take a deal of thought and hard work.
Michael and Helen Quintrell, Bromley, Kent, April 2007
What a wonderful surprise! We were booked here at Low Penhowe for a one night overnight stay. We certainly did not expect such a beautiful place, with wonderful hosts: Philippa and Chris. We will definitely book again for a longer period next time! From the food to the room where we stayed it was a very high standard. Excellent! Thank you!
Sharon and Maria, Liverpool, April 2007

Absolutely wonderful, from the first welcoming cup of tea to the final brilliant breakfast. Philippa and Christopher have thought of everything to make a perfect weekend. Such attention to detail!! Staying at Low Penhowe has been a totally satisfactory experience, no shadow of doubt. Christopher and Philippa welcomed us into their home, assisted by Holly who came in when they were away and abetted by their wonderful labs.
Thanks to you all for happy memories and we endorse Christopher’s self guided tour of the surrounding attractions.
Tony and Betty Bridgens, Orillia, Ontario, Canada, March 2007, with their granddaughter Heidi on her English Heritage Tour!
Thank you Philippa and Christopher for a wonderful stay at your lovely B&B and home. You made us so very welcome, you were helpful and sent us to an excellent tour around the area, the extra you have for your guests are terrific, the rooms and bathroom are fantastic. Every “touch” was appreciated. The animals all make an additional interest. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Holly and would like to have our thanks conveyed to her for all her help and friendly conversation. As B&B hosts ourselves we are so happy to stay somewhere that makes us so satisfied and not disappointed. I sincerely hope we will be back in the future.
Betty Bridgens, Orillia, Ontario, Canada, March 2007
This was our first stay at Low Penhowe, and we fully expect to be back. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay, stay here. If you are looking for a GREAT breakfast, stay here! Christopher and Philippa helped us have the relaxing weekend away we were after.

Fab place, really excellent welcome, nothing too much trouble, certainly hope to be back!!

By far the best ‘Bed and Breakfast’ that we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived at Low Penhowe to the time we left we were made to feel extremely welcome. Philippa and Christopher couldn’t have been more helpful – recommending and booking restaurants, drawing maps and providing information to make our stay an enjoyable experience. Superb comfortable accommodation with stunning views of the North Yorkshire countryside. I will definitely recommend this B&B to my family and friends.

Margaret and Michael Cuffe, Rochdale, Lancashire, October 2006
We were made to feel welcome from the time we arrived at Low Penhowe. We were assisted with our bags and provided with a welcoming tea tray in the guest sitting room. Nothing was ever a bother. Our hosts Philippa and Christopher provided us with wonderful hearty breakfasts (eggs a speciality from the egg man). Our room was spacious with a beautiful garden view and very comfortable. It was nice to view the Highland Cattle and chickens from our window each morning. The surrounding countryside is very picturesque. Overall, our hosts were perfect, the accommodation perfect and the location perfect for a very relaxing break. Christopher was also very helpful with advice for touring and directions to both local pubs and just touring the area. Last but not least, the dogs Polly and Tarka were just as friendly as the hosts. It was a five star B&B we would recommend to everybody.
Gary and Anthea Ward, Sydney, Australia, October 2006

After a long day of travel we welcomed on the steps by Christopher and Philippa. We were helped with our bags and then plopped down in front of the fire with hot tea and warmed up! The bed, bathroom everything is so comfortable. I will definitely be back!
Jennifer Gibson, Ranson, West Virginia, USA, October 2006
Low Penhowe is a warm, charming accommodation. It was a relaxing stay in contrast to the experience of York. I feel we have had a taste of North Yorkshire life. Only one week remaining of our trip to the British Isles which began in Ireland, then Scotland, ending in London. Thank you from myself, my niece Alice and her daughter Jennifer.
Linda Kuharcik, Welmington, North Carolina, United States, October 2006
This is our first visit to Low Penhowe; however it will not be our last. After a long drive from Bristol we were made to feel very welcome. The facilities are superb, with very comfortable beds and rooms. We had a fantastic breakfast all served with gusto from Philippa and Christopher. The only downside is we could only stay for one night. I would thoroughly recommend Low Penhowe.
Claire Irons & Adam Darley, Bristol, October 2006

Peter and Joan Simonds, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, September 2006
We stayed at three B&B’s this trip and Low Penhowe has been the best by a distance. Attention to detail is a key factor – everywhere is so neat and tidy, bright and clean yet welcoming and comfortable. Philippa and Christopher, you could not have been more helpful. We will certainly return.
Marjorie and Trevor Short, Sevenoaks, Kent, September 2006
Thank you for a wonderful stay! The house is superb as is your hospitality. You have really thought about everything. The presentation of the food served, the house, the rooms, is just magnificent. Well done. I know a lot of hard work goes into it. I shall love to bring my husband to stay and will happily recommend your B&B and write any online reviews you require.
Kirsty Bragg, West Tytherley, Hampshire, September 2006
We were only able to stay one night, but the welcome we received was splendid, so much information in your booklet, I am going to allow for a longer stay next time.
Tricia Myles, Barking, Essex, September 2006
Thank you very much for all your kindness and thoughtfulness during our stay with you, I have travelled all over the country from top to bottom, staying in B&B’s and hotels, but Low Penhowe tops the lot. We have wanted for nothing and felt like royalty, your rooms are superbly appointed, everything one could wish for, as for your food I have yet to find better anywhere in 40 years travelling up and down the country. My wife Tricia and myself Alf can’t find words to thank you enough. So I’ll just say we will definitely be back sooner than later.
Alf and Tricia Myles, Barking, Essex, September 2006
We only allowed two nights but could have stayed much longer. Chris and Philippa have made our visit so comfortable in this beautiful home. The setting is extraordinary and finding it is only the charm of the entire experience. We would encourage anyone to come to Low Penhowe and visit.
Jim and Anne Condra, Springfield, Illinois, USA, September 2006
An all too short stay to sample the excellent hospitality offered here at Low Penhowe. This splendid headquarter was given to us by friends who had previously enjoyed their stay - but the reality of being here exceeded our expectations. We very much look forward to our return visit.
Lee and Julie Johnson, Bolton, Lancashire, September 2006
Wonderful to stay with you once more – the greatest hosts we have ever known. Everything – as last time – absolute perfection.

Anne Paraskos & Pie (Anne’ horse) and Jane Ward & Jester (Jane’s horse), Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, September 2006
Thank you Philippa and Christopher for a wonderful few days. No exaggeration, everything was “perfect”. We felt as if we were staying in a 5 star hotel not a B&B.
Jenny and Stephen Ince, Kingswood, Surrey, September 2006
This has been one of the best bed and breakfast homes we have ever stayed in. Every little attention to detail was perfect. Low Penhowe is a beautiful house, light and homely. The most warm welcome from Philippa and Christopher – we felt instantly at home. Our room looked even better than the internet photo – lovely linen, very comfortable- and then there was the amazing breakfast!
Gill and Mike Hughes, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, September 2006
A very warm and charming welcome and the most excellent stay. We ere cared for like King and Queens. A really wonderful place to stay. Low Penhowe is a beautiful house in a perfect location and the most perfect hosts. We were spoiled forever. We shall come again
Elvira and Carsten Boin, Petershagen, Germany, September 2006
The most charming, efficient and welcoming hosts. All was perfect and we enjoyed our all too brief stay enormously. Their energy put us to shame! We shall come again.
Geoffrey and Alma Tarris, Norwich, Norfolk, September 2006
Excellent as usual, we couldn’t ask for anything better. Hope to come back for our 5th visit. Also we enjoy your 2 four legged friends. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
Ken and Mary Baggott, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, September 2006
A second wonderful visit in spoilt luxury and as always looked after so well. Many thanks – can’t wait to come again
Wendy, John and Sophie Court, Tiddington, Oxfordshire, September 2006
To describe Low Penhowe as a B and B is to do it a disservice. It is much more than that. However the bed and bedroom was a lovely place to stay – full of nice touches, such as proper tea and coffee, a delightful radio and an enormous bathroom. And the breakfast was one of the nicest I have ever had – lovely local produce. So it is a B and B, but a very special one!
Matt Turner and Nichole Beebee, London, September 2006
Found! A B&B goldmine! We have been looked after so well. This is no ordinary B&B joint. Oh no! Apart from Christopher and Philippa’s excellent, welcoming touch, everything here shouts of pure comfort down to the minutest detail. From the fresh coffee cafetiere in the bedroom and extra indulgences in the bathroom.
We have both had a very special couple of days and will definitely be back!!
Bev and Pete, Southport, Merseyside, September 2006
This is our 2nd visit and returned because of the very comfortable bedroom and excellent Yorkshire breakfast. You made us feel at home and with the lovely tea served in the Drawing room. The tea, coffee and biscuits in the bedrooms were a nice touch and even the bottle of water.
Nicky and John Aylmer, Byfleet, Surrey, September 2006
This was our second visit to Low Penhowe and it was just as perfect as the first visit!!! On our first visit back in July we witnessed a calf called Mull being born. It was lovely to see her running around the field this time and playing with the other cattle. Since our last visit we have also got more confident and enjoy feeding the chickens and cattle in the field. (Wasn’t sure about the hens at first) Bottom about Low Penhowe ’11 out of 10’ and we will definitely be back in the near future. Thank you again.
Malcolm Leatham and Victoria Bell, North Shields, Tyne & Weir, September 2006
A great B&B with wonderful attentive hosts. A very relaxing few days. Look forward to a repeat visit.
John and Janet Smith, Winsford, Cheshire, August 2006
Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. If we come this way again we will certainly stay with you again and would not hesitate to recommend you to our friends.
John and Carol Cooper, Warrington, Lancashire, August 2006
We could not have been better looked after, in a wonderful setting, thank you very much. How extraordinary that we should have been well acquainted with Morville, the Wards and Margaret Long. We trust the wedding will go well.
Noel and Ann Darrah, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, August 2006
Splendid house, excellent food, personable and knowledgeable hosts. Only our second visit to Yorkshire but this could tempt us back. We will return – but will we find as good a B&B anywhere else?!
Madeleine and Malcolm King, St Albans, Hertfordshire, August 2006
Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Low Penhowe. Very relaxing and a wonderful warm welcome. We will be back again.

This is the first experience of B&B for Audrey and I. How lucky can we be to have met such two delightful hosts as Philippa and Christopher, and, again it is not difficult to see how the personalities show in Low Penhowe. It is fabulous, a wonderful experience which words cannot describe, every detail perfect, many, many thanks.
Audrey and Denis Small, Vancouver, Canada, August 2006
We have been made to feel so welcome, many thanks to Philippa and Christopher or being wonderful hosts with superb attention to detail. We loved the terrific Yorkshire breakfasts*. Sophy an Anna will also remember Tarka and Polly and of course their wonderful visits to the Highland Cattle (They are great!)
Simone, Richard, Sophy and Anna Cooke, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, August 2006
PS Sophy and I (Anna) will never forget your delicious scrambled eggs. YUM!
Wonderful hospitality, great breakfasts and lots of help in suggesting how we spend the time in the locality. Excellent B&B is in the detail.
Carmen and Billy Watson, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, August 2006
PS Lovely dogs, Carmen!!
I feel like we have been in one of the books I’ve read with a pastoral Yorkshire setting! We will be challenged to find a better experience. Beautiful home, most welcoming host and hostess in Christopher and Philippa – delicious breakfasts, comfortable bed, wake up to the sound of the rooster, the cows, the doves and the song birds. Excellent advice on where to eat and travel – so much history to absorb! I have loved every minute of it here and would love to return! A most delightful experience at Low Penhowe!!! Superb quality. I loved Polly, Tarka and the Kitty. Thank you, Thank you
Alex and Linda Stewart, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, August 2006
Dear Chris and Philippa
We agree with everything that Linda and Alex have said above. We would only add that you exceeded our expectation in every area and in every way. Thanks.
Char and Ken Curry, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, August 2006
We had a lovely stay at Low Penhowe. We shall surely come again because the hosts, the dogs, and the food the atmosphere and the surroundings are wonderful. Who needs York when you have the Turner’s of Low Penhowe! Chris is always on the look out for good tips at York Races. Our tip bagged him only 50p! Good luck and we will see you again.
Catrin Nack, Bella and Jimmy, Hamburg, Germany, August 2006
We have had a wonderful 4 night’s stay at Low Penhowe, the room the food and not least our hosts. Thank you so much.
John and Janet Rallison, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, August 2006
Situated close to the Yorkshire Moors, this is an extremely elegant, comfortable and welcoming bed and breakfast establishment. Christopher and Philippa have been warm and graceful hosts and have made our stay at Low Penhowe memorable.
It has been the little things that have so impressed us. The Turner’s attention to detail is superb and we’ve felt very spoilt by our stay here. Future B&B’s will not be able to hold a candle to Low Penhowe!
Christopher and Philippa, thank you so much for your warmth and generosity. The route and directions onto the moors and around North Yorkshire were so much need and appreciated.
We will remember our two nights with fondness.
Barbara, Pru and Belinda Abbott, Johannesburg, South Africa, August 2006
What a fantastic break you have given us at Low Penhowe – beautiful surroundings, wonderful food and hospitality. You both were so friendly and welcoming – thank you very much indeed – you even laid on the weather! It was so helpful, too, the attention to detail in the planning and the help in booking and planning routes and pubs. We can’t thank you enough. Jane would like to commend the black pudding! We’ll be back!
Brian and Gill Skinner and Jane Marsh, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, July 2006
We can’t thank you enough for making our stay so very pleasant. From the time we arrived until we left we always felt welcome. Your hospitality and friendliness were over the top and the accommodation at Low Penhowe was the best. It was so nice to share you lovely house and gardens. Thanks also for the scenic route recommendations and taking care of our dinner reservations. The breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful. Your genuine concern and care are evident in the extra touches and attention to detail. We are blessed to have met you both and look forward to another stay.
P.S. I enjoyed gathering the eggs too.
Ray and Shelia Geer, Kansas City, Kansas, USA, July 2006
A one night stay in this beautiful house is not enough. We will be back again to enjoy the wonderful hospitality of Philippa and Christopher (and have another fantastic breakfast!)
Graham and Jane Smith, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, July 2006
As we sit pondering what to write, we are aware of just how relaxed we have become over the last few days at Low Penhowe. What has been the recipe? Excellent quality of ingredients
• 2 super hosts
• Outstanding food
• Elegant surroundings
• Beautiful scenic views
Mix all the above carefully with a liberal helping of repartee and humour, kept at an even temperature and allow it to rest. The results are a wonderful holiday to hopefully repeat in the future.
Marjorie & Alan Evans, Atherton, Manchester, July 2006
Many thanks for a wonderful relaxing break at Low Penhowe. Good breakfast and splendid views, couldn’t have asked for better hosts. We hope to visit again soon.
Jonathan Bussell and Lucy, Yarm, Cleveland, July 2006
Having booked to see a concert at Castle Howard, it was necessary to find accommodation within the same locality. Using the internet we found the Low Penhowe website which was by far the most impressive. On reading past gusts comments we had no hesitation in booking.
We have not been disappointed. Everything that Philippa and Christopher provided over our weekend stay was of the highest standard..
The Gold Awards are most certainly fully justified. We will look forward to a return visit.
