The Kings Arms Hotel, Salisbury

The best hotel I have EVER stayed in. My mother and I stayed for two days, not under the best circumstances, but the stay in the Kings Arms made it bareable. Staff went out their way to make sure we were cared for and made our stay better than we could ever have imagined. All staff absolutely amazing and wonderful people who did so much for us. The hotel itself is gorgeous in every way, beautiful design and traditional old English, and the history of it is amazing. The atmosphere is calm and romantic and relaxing and the decorations and furniture are stunning. The rooms are simply beautiful and homely and warm. The beds are so comfy, with beautiful spreads and soft sheets and pillows with extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe. The bathrooms are lovely and the showers brilliant, and even the toilet paper is lovely – not sandpaper like in some places! There is also a beautiful selection of tea and coffee in the room for you to choose from.
The food in the hotel is the best I have ever tasted. Meals designed and cooked by a chef who once had his own restaurant, and the variety on both the lunch and dinner menus is fantastic. I would strongly recommend this hotel to people over around 25 who want a relaxing stay above any other hotel I have ever been in.
