I stayed 3 nights in the Carfax after a friend of mine recommended it. It was fab. Great bedroom, good quality and generous breakfast (unusual for UK hotel), useful to have a car park, but the best thing about the it was the location. Perfect - 2 mins walk to centre, but set in a really impressive and quiet street. I'd tell any one who was going to Bath to stay there just because of the location, but it is a real nice and friendly hotel too!
