From Porte Maillot Bus Stop to the Metro/RER - Directions
Porte Maillot Bus Park
The bus from Beauvais Airport will drop you off here. This is also where you will catch the bus back to Beauvais Airport.
When you get off the bus (and have collected your baggage!) turn to face the tower of the Concorde Lafayette Hotel (5) - this is where you should really stay if you don't like carrying luggage (not the cheapest hotel in Paris though). Facing the tower, turn LEFT if you want to catch a taxi (3 and 4). If you are looking for either the Metro (7) or the RER station (6), turn RIGHT and walk towards the Ticket Office (2).
Ticket Office.
If you have been to Porte Maillot before, there has been a recent change you should be aware of. There is a new ticket office situated at the southside of the Bus Park (you can't buy tickets on the bus any longer).
To continue in the direction of the Metro, pass under the Ticket Office shelter. You will then find yourself at a busy road. To your left will be a marked crossing (no lights). Cross the road here - in the direction of the Palais des Congres building). Once you have crossed two crossings, you will find yourself at a small set of steps (built into the side of the Palais des Congres building). Climb the steps and continue walking in the same direction along the exterior of the Palais des Congres building. When you reach the end of the building, turn LEFT and continue until you reach the next corner (there will be a building in the distance with a large "Nescafe" sign on the roof, this is your ultimate objective).
Once you reach the second corner of the Palais Des Congres building, again you will find yourself at a busy road (Boulevard Gouvion-Saint-Cyr). Cross the road at the crossing and turn RIGHT. In front of you will be another crossing (across Boulevard Pereire Nord). Cross the road here and you will find yourself outside the RER station (Neuilly Porte Maillot - RER Line C).
RER Station
RER Station "Neuilly Porte Maillot Palais des Congres" is on the RER Line "C". It is only of any real value to those who will be staying at hotels near RER C stations.
To continue to the Metro station, walk past the RER station building and turn LEFT. Cross the one-way (look RIGHT) Boulevard Pereire Sud. Walk round the corner, of the cafe with the red awning, and look for a red sign saying "Metro". You have arrived. There is also a taxi rank here.
Metro Station
Porte Maillot metro station is on line 1 (the yellow line). Line 1 is a relatively new line which cuts straight across the heart of Paris, from La Defense in the west, to Chateau de Vincennes in the east.
If you are heading directly to Disneyland Paris, take the "Chateau de Vincennes" bound train for two stops - to "Charles de Gaulle Etoile" station. Change there onto RER Line A (look for signs with a red circle with "A" inside) making sure the final destination of the train is displayed as "Marne-la-Vallee". Continue to the end of the line - Marne-la-Vallee is the station which serves Disneyland Paris. Buy a through ticket to Marne-la-Vallee when you start your journey at Porte Maillot metro station.
We hope you enjoy your stay in Paris.
